After testing out many different fonts and styles for our logo, we have decide to choose this simple logo. Although it is simple, it makes a statement as it is a good clear, strong logo, and easily recognisable.

Font Research.

We experimented with different fonts to decide what font we wanted to use to represent our artist. We knew that we definitely wanted to use a bold font that was very clear, and easy to associate with our artist. We chose to use the last font, Arial as it is very simple and bold so it stands out and looks the neatest. The font we have chosen is very sleek and this is what we intend our audience to think about our artist, that she is sleek and stands out from other artists.

Digipack Ideas.

The cover of our Digi-pack is going to be a photo of MYA with wet hair covering the front of her face, in black and white. We may make her lips a feature and make them the only bit of colour in the photo so that they stand out. We are considering a silver chrome lip colour.

Textual Analysis.

Camera.
In this video the camera shots aren't very steady. The way it is filmed is often like the person filming wants to make it obvious that they are following the people in the music video and filming them, the camera shots are purposely unsteady to emphasise this. There are many close up shots in this music video, of peoples faces. The camera is still and then the people walk into the shot and the camera just shows their neck and their face, this is to also emphasise the fact that someone is filming them, as it like a point of view shot.

Editing.
When the song speeds up during the chorus, there are more cuts and the video changes scenes very quickly to mimic the pace of the song. In this video, the editing often shows one shot of one person, and then cuts to a different shot of another person doing the same thing. For example there is a shot of a girl looking up and then is cuts to the same view of the boy looking up.

Mise en Scene.
Mise en Scene is used a lot to emphasise the feel good vibe of the song. During the first part of the song where is it slower than the chorus, the actors are doing slower scenes and more romantic settings where as when the song gets to the chorus it shows lots of people dancing in time to the music at a very fast past to also mimic the pace of the song. Throughout the chorus there are lots of scenes that are only shown for a short amount of time before it then cuts to another fast past scene. Due to so many different shots being put together, it almost creates a chaotic effect which is good as when the beat drops in the song, the song feels like there is lots going on. The outfits worn by the actors in the first part of the song are very casual, where as when the song gets faster it shows lots of cultural dancing going on which extravagant outfits. When the group of people are dancing in the chorus of the song, the dancing matches the pace and the beat of the song. This gives the impression that all the dancers are happy as it is a feel good song and automatically makes people happy.

Sound.
The genre of this song is POP/ DANCE. This matches the genre of our song that we are doing. It is a very feel good song and is upbeat. The editing is based around the sound and the cuts that are used match the pace of the song.

Behind The Scenes.

3/10/19. We started to film. We filmed a time-lapse of the cars on the bridge of the A12, including the sunset.
